NHR 9300-1000 High-Voltage Battery Test System
The NH Research 9300-1000 High Voltage Battery Test System is a programmable DC power source with excellent performance and a regenerative load that is intended for testing batteries, fuel cells, and ultra-capacitors, among other energy storage devices. Battery emulation, charge/discharge cycles, battery charger testing, and research are among the industries that frequently use it: automotive, aviation, industrial, marine, grid storage, and certification labs.
The NHR 9300-1000 is rated at 1000kW and supports both low- and high-power applications with a dual voltage range of 600V and 1200V. Power scalability up to 2.4MW is possible with modular cabinet designs due to its delivery of up to 3330A at 600V and 1670A at 1200V. For more flexibility and scalability as testing needs increase, each 100kW cabinet can run independently or concurrently. By recycling energy back into the grid during testing, its design reduces operating expenses. It also features high transient speeds with a <2 ms slew rate and regenerative power efficiency surpassing 95%.
For accurate control, the NHR 9300-1000 offers setpoint limits for constant voltage, current, and power operation modes. In addition to using sophisticated digital measurements to provide synchronized high-resolution data for voltage, current, amp-hours, and watt-hours, the air-cooled system also eliminates the need for liquid cooling, which simplifies maintenance. Detailed analysis and battery state monitoring are made possible by this high-speed data.
The strong safety features include trip limits that may be programmed and safeguards against overvoltage, overcurrent, overpower, and overheating. The system ensures safety during crucial testing by having interlock inputs for emergency stops and external test fixtures. In order to provide even more protection, the system has isolation between the AC input and test equipment.
A simple touch panel interface enables for real-time control, monitoring, and reporting of the NHR 9300-1000 without the need for specialized programming.
